Great success for Concierto de estío in Israel

The concerts on March 19th, 20th  and 21st performed by the Raanana Symphonette Orchestra under conductor Omer M. Wellber, with violinist Nital Zori were received with a resounding ovation from the public which completely filled the hall. The rest of the program included works by Mozart and Tres viejos aires de danza and Soleriana by Joaquín Rodrigo. Among the outstanding figures attending were the Spanish Ambassador to Israel, Álvaro Iranzo, as well as Cecilia Rodrigo and Agustín León Ara, invited as special guests for the occasion.
Cecilia Rodrigo took advantage of her stay in Israel to present two talks about Joaquín Rodrigo and how he was influenced by Hebraic culture  at the Jerusalem Music Academy and the Instituto Cervantes in Tel Aviv,  which aroused great interest in those attending.
