Dance gala by the Fundación Alicia Alonso's ballet in honor of Joaquín Rodrigo

A magnificent dance gala was held in honor of Joaquín Rodrigo yesterday, April 29th, at the Teatro Carlos III in Aranjuez. The Alicia Alonso Foundation ballet performed a varied program of classical and Spanish choreographies on the music of the Concierto de estío, Fantasía para un gentilhombre, Concierto madrigal and Concierto de Aranjuez. The evening began with a contemporary choreography titled “Un siglo con cuatro sentidos” (“A Century with Four Senses”). The event received a standing ovation.
